The Full Story

We are The Social Bean and are made up of a team of 4 coffeeholics with a huge interest in speciality coffee.

International sport has given us all the opportunity to travel the world and play hockey professionally. When we're all not playing you'll find us either half a cup down of a flat white or on the way to trying to find one. 

​

One positive to come from the Covid lockdown was allowing us time to reflect and plan a way in which we can manage playing sports, whilst also following our passion for coffee. That's when we all plucked up the courage to buy a converted horse trailer. 

​

A paint job, many hours of sanding, and some new equipment later, we can finally say we have a coffee trailer that can produce the highest grade speciality coffee and service.

Following this we purchased our Land Rover Defender to give us more flexibility and open up more event opportunities.

keeping close relationships in business is close to our hearts and is central to how we want to run our coffee business. We have teamed with a fellow GB Hockey player who is a multiple medal-winning Olympian and has her own baking company. Giselle uses the highest quality ingredients and can cater to all requests.

With experience in various different events we're confident that we can provide a bespoke service to all occasions with a little bit of Social Bean magic!
